We’re adding the ability to assign functional roles to attributes associated with steps—so users can clearly define how each attribute is used in the process.
When linking attributes to a step, you'll be able to choose from the following roles:
  • Trigger – The event or data point that initiates the step
  • Filter – A condition that determines if the step should proceed
  • Input – Required data for the step to function
  • Reference – Supporting data referenced during the step
  • Output – The result or data produced by the step
This will help teams better document and communicate how systems interact with data, especially for automated workflows and technical audits.
