Lock individual sections within a workflow

I would like the ability to lock individual sections within a workflow without having to lock the entire workflow. This feature would help in preventing certain team members from editing specific parts of a workflow or protecting completed sections from accidental changes. It would be beneficial to have more granular control over access to different parts of a workflow.

Problem: When working on complex flows, it’s easy to accidentally select an entire section or part of a section. A small drag or shift can unintentionally move steps, sometimes even pulling steps from other sections. This creates confusion, breaks logic, and requires time-consuming cleanup.
Proposed Solution: Add a “Lock Section” option that prevents any edits, moves, or selections within that section until it’s manually unlocked.
Benefits:
Prevents accidental movement of steps
Protects completed or stable sections of a flow
Reduces cleanup time after unintended edits
Makes large projects safer and easier to manage
Mirrors a common UX pattern used in design tools (Figma, Miro, etc.)
Optional Enhancements:
Lock individual steps
Lock entire groups
Visual indicator (e.g., small lock icon)
Right‑click → “Lock/Unlock”
Global “Lock All Completed Sections” toggle
